Min's CV in Chinese

• 1955, Born in Taigu County, Shanxi Province, PR China.
• 1982, Graduated from Shanxi University, School of Fine Arts, Bachelors of Arts in Oil Painting.
• 1983, Advanced Studies at the Nanjing University of the Arts, under Professors Liu Haisu (刘海粟) and Cheng Dayu (陳大禹).
• 1992, immigrated to the United States, residing in Southern California, established impressionist and realist painting studio, creating works relating to figure and landscape studies, and worked with close colleague Ting Shao Kuang (丁绍光) in joining as an active member of the World Association of Chinese Artists.
• 1994, appointed as Executive Director of the World Association of Chinese Artists.
• 1995, held personal exhibition in Los Angeles.
• 1996, appointed as chairman of the World Artists Alliance, China Branch
• 2000, represented as featured artist in the Kolibri Art Studio Gallery in Palos Verdes, CA.
• 2001, established personal and commercial artist website at www.minlifinearts.com.
• 2003, became shareholder in US Arts Center, and principal of its Torrance branch.
• 2005, invited as judge to Carson city artist association.
• 2008, awarded 1st prize winner of Catalina Art Association's Art Festival
• 2009, awarded 3rd prize winner of Southern California Plein Air Painter's Association (Socalpapa) Winter Juried Show.
• 2011, participated in Shenzhen, PR China art show for "Returning Oil Painters' Exhibition" (归国油画家邀请展).
• 2012, awarded 1st place by the Torrance Art Guild
• 2012, visiting lecturer at the Art Department of the Renmin University of China.
• 2008-2012, participating artist in the Richard Schmid Art Auction.
• 2014, visiting lecturer at the Datong University School of Fine Arts.

Min has participated in numerous other exhibitions and placed at many juried shows not mentioned above. His works have been collected by American and overseas art collectors alike. In addition to the creative process of original works and teaching at his school, Min enjoys scholarship and exchange at various art institutes, as well as oil painting demonstrations.
